I am sick of hearing about michael jackson. I thought this article brought up a great point. How come we haven't heard about the 13 members of the military who have died since michael jackson's death? I realize he's regarded as a musical icon...but in the end the guy sang and danced....these 13 People (and thousands more) made the ultimate sacrifice for Their country, and we hardly even hear about it. Unclassy, outrageous, irritating, and completely wrong if ya ask me.

update on life

well life has been very different the last three or four weeks. blogging has kinda fallen to the back burner. married life is great...i'm loving it. it's fun building up a life w/ chrissy. such good times. i'm now in the routine of working at usaa...it's alright. not my life's calling but the people seem solid and it's a paycheck and benefits. i took my physical for the air force today...that was such a joy...lemme tell ya. 5.5 hrs at meps wasn't enough though so i'll go back next week. i'll submit my package here soon and should know come september. i'm really hoping it works out...but i guess we'll just have to wait and see. so this is wordy and i gotta work at 7 am...so good times y'all.

an eventful week

i started a job at usaa...and i'm getting married tomorrow. good times.
